Friday, November 14th, 2008おかざき / Okazaki
Friday, November 7th, 2008Class finishes early on Fridays. I was home around 3 after my CALL Seminar and my Private Lesson. After doing my homework first – I am a good student – I went for a bike ride / photo recce in an effort to give some of you back home an idea of what Okazaki can look like. Of course these are the prettiest images I could make, and by no means representative. It can be pretty boring and dull, but I like it all the same. Like a friend of mine put it: Being in Japan feels like permanent vacation.

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008It’s Getting Better, Man.
Tuesday, November 4th, 2008After a somewhat depressing day yesterday cos there was a lot of wakarimasen-ing today was better.
Had my first private lesson and I noticed that I understood quite a few things that up until 3 days ago would have been gibberish to me. Hooray for pooh, hooray for me.
Took some pictures, too. This is my only classmate, and his phone, just outside our building during the break.
The boy in uniform was halfway between running and walking to what I suppose judging by his bag was practice. Taken in my street by the by.
